Williams McKenzie welcomes Sonya de Vries to the team as a Solicitor. Sonya lives in Woodend and has worked in North Canterbury since 2007. We are looking forward to working with Sonya in the future.

Goodbye Crerar Williams, hello Williams McKenzie. An exciting change towards the future of the firm occurred on 1 August 2008, when the firm changed its name from Crerar Williams to Williams McKenzie. Even though the name has changed, within the firm it is still very much business as usual.

One of our legal executives, Colenna Collins, has started her Law Degree at the University of Canterbury. Colenna will still be with us on a part time basis. We wish her every success with her studies.

We are pleased to welcome Kathryn Lawry to the team as a solicitor. Kathryn lives in Christchurch having completed her Law Degree at Canterbury University. We are looking forward to working with Kathryn as she furthers her career with us.

Justine Grey has left to further her career in Christchurch. Our firm wishes Justine every success for the future.

David Crerar was appointed as Regional Coroner in Dunedin in June 2007. He will be responsible for the Dunedin region, including Balclutha, Cromwell, Dunedin, Invercargill, Oamaru, Queenstown, and Te Anau.

The firm is very sorry to lose David and wishes him every success in the future.
